MIKE MANAGERS' REPORTS.
Hauraki Associated Mines.—The Western drive on the footwall leader is now within 2oft of the Royal Oak boundary; country very hard. Sloping is still progressing on the' eastern block with nothing fresh to report. On the intermediate level on the Rainbow End lead very fair headway is being made and the country is getting more like that on the footwall lead. Nto gold was seen last breaking down, but another week's driving will reach abreast of the gold in the footwall lead. The battery is crushing as usual ; will have the return out before the end of the week.
