CHRISTCHURCH, this day.

A meeting of the stewards of the Canterbury Trotting Club resolved that the instructions of the Colonial Secretary as to the ruling of Association in the Bed ot Stone case be accepted. A letter was received from the owner of Grada stating that he would appeal to the Association it the Club paid out on Bed of Stone without first considering his protest against toe latter for inconsistent running. The protest will be considered on 20th.
