(For 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day.) Wind between south-east and east and north at all places. Barometer fall everywhere. Sea heavy on eastern coast north of East Cape and increasing from thence southward. Moderate on all western coast. Tides high on East Coast north ot East Cape and good southward of Napier. Low on all western coast. Easterly gales and rain are to be expected at all places northward of East Cape, Taupo and Raglan, and moderate to fresh northerly winds elsewhere.
