A variety entertainment was given at the Costley Training Institution, Richmond Road on Friday evening,' when songs were Sjven by Misses Brown, Butler, Cherry, Daisy Gregg, MrS Lee, Messrs McGibbin, £cc, Anderson and Master George Wilson. Recitations were given by Miss McPherson, Messrs Anderson, A. J. Entrican, •Oavenport, and Master Percy Brennan. Captain Morrow presided, and moved a vote of wanks to all those who had contributed to tup evening's enjoyment. A hearty vote of wanks was given to Captain Morrow for presiding, the company singing, " For JJes a Jolly Good Fellow." "God Save jhe Queen " was then sung, which brought ™c programme to an end, the one prevail'ag sentiment being, " Happy to meet, sorry to part, and happy to meet again."
