HAURAKI NORTH.
Mr J. B. Steedman, mine manager of the Hauraki North Goldmining Company, met the directors at a meeting this morning. Subsequently, the directors agreed to connect the No. 1 and No. 2 levels west for ventilation purposes and then proceed with the sinking of the shaft. Mr Steedman also exhibited various pieces of stone from the mine.
