THE EMPLOYMENT OF SPIES
A SCHEME THAT FAILED.
PRETORIA, November 26. President Kruger, in the course of an electioneering speech, justified the employment of spies abroad at Cape Town, Rhodesia, and Delagoa Bay. He admitted having once attempted to annex Rhodesia, but the Engligh were too sharp for him.
