RICCARTON TRAINING NOTES.

CHRISTCHURCH, this day

At Riccarton this morning St. Paul brushed over the last three furlongs of two circuits. Oma and Montacute did a useful miic. Haria finished well in front of Daystar, assisted by Acone, the last part of a mile and a-half on the grass being covered in 2min 41 3-sth sec. by the horses in shoes and having lightweights up. Waiuku did a working gallop over the same distance with General Wolfe in 2min 4Ssec. Lord Kosslyn and Fulmen went a mile strong.
