THE LAST TREBELLI CONCERT.
Auckland has proved itself to bo musical though this fact is often disputed. The audiences which attended each of the Trebelli concerts were ample proof that this assertion is correct ; they proved this not only numerically but by the genuine attention and tho spontaneous outbursts of delightful applause which was given to each of the ■ great visitor's difficult productions. There will apparently be a larger crowd to-niglu, is being the star's as well as her company's last appearance in the (Jhorkl Hall, aad tho programme will present some exceptionally n'ue features. Mademoiselle, wa are informed, will kiadly siug tho Laughing Bong again, having received no less than 23 written requests to do so. Ivlr John Prouae will introduce some fiiao baritone music, and he is sure to fscoro another success. •Mr Salvini's items, though operatic, vrill introduco a lighter sham into tha tone picture which will be unfolded tonight. Mr E. V, Rice has very kindly consented to preside at the organ, and Herr Zimmermann will eupply the vialin obligatoe, whilat Mies Floreuce Hardingo will again demonstrate her skill in accompanying, a skill possessed by very few of the beat solo piaaista. Trams and 'buses run aa before, bub the 7.10 tram from Three Lamps will leave ab eeven, o'clock.
