She left Pernambuco, where ehe had pub in to have repaira effected, the damage having been caused by a gale and heavy sea oa August 6th. Daring a heavy gale Carl Anderson, a etqwaway from Pernambuco, was washed overboard. A lifebuoy was thrown and watch kept, and the ship hauled, but the man appeared to sink at once.
