John Francis Taylor v. Samuel W. Taylor.—Plaintitt In fchia ease claimed the sum of £3 U)» 10d # balanco due undar a verbal agreement for the use and occupation of a paddock ab Mount Koakill.—Mr T. Cotfcer appeared for plaintiff aud Mr J. R. Reed (of Messrs Thorne and Reed) for defendant),—A counter claim of £1 17s was pUb in by dofemianb for work done by him for plaintiff, and for cash paid by him on plaintiff's behalf, in respect of the fence of the said paddock.—The caea ocsupied the attention of the Court) from eleven o'clock till aquarter to four, and eventually His Worship pave judgment for plaintiff for bhe amount claimed, with £1 13s cores.—The counter claim was disallowed. Charles Fag an v. J. Riggers.—Glsim £9 19s tor money lent and fo* the purchase i money of a quarter share in the Kuranui special claim, which plaintiff purchased from defendant, but of which he nerer received delivery, after paying for the same. —Judgment was given for plaintiff for £9 lOe with £3 2s costs. F. W. Boynton v. J. Birkett.—Claim £1 for loss on almanacs priated for defendant), bdt of tthich defending refused to take delivery.— Judgment *r*S givea for plaintiff with costs.
