Tnra Northern Bowling Association Tournament was continued to-day vit the Grafton and Ponsonby greens, and also at Mr J. Kirker's private green, Wallace-street. GRAFTON ROAD GREEN. The green was in good order to-day deapita the many matches played on ifc during the week. Afternoon tea was provided by Mesdamea Reid, Kingswell, Gorrie and Geddes, the refreshmeufc department; being in the hands of a committee. The Hon. Mr Carroll was. among the spectators this morning, and subsequently played in a friendly match Gisborna v. Sydney. INTER-CLUB MATCH. No. 2 Rink. AUCKLAND DEVONPORT. Menaia t, Harrison Miller / Stewart Ledingham Logan Holland, skip 23 Craigmile, skip 13 Majority for Auckland, fifteen poiuts. ; Auckland went ott with the lead and were never headed. Auckland took the firsb head, und Devonport got three in the second head. At the 10th head, Dovonport had scored eevea and Auckland nine. In bho fifteenth head Auckland had increased the score to twenty against) Dovonport's eight. Devonport were overmatched for the greater part of the game, the Auckland team winning by nine points. The Auckland Bowling Club has practically won the certificate attached to tho inter-club matches, having won the six games they played. Ab the twentieth head Giaborne Bcored four, which made the figures—Gisborne, 19; Napier, 20. In the twenty-first head Gisborne scored one, making the teams level. A deciding head was then played. Gisborne lay one, bub Evans, by a good shot, took it oub and won for Napier by one point. At the Grafton Road Green to day Gisborde defeated Sydney in a friendly match j by two points.
