At the half-yearly meeting of the Broken Hill Proprietary mine Mr Mcßride stated he waß satisfied that the damage by the fira in block 11 would nob exceed £20,000. The directors would nob be able to pay monthly dividends during the coming half-year, bub hoped to' pay five dividends of Is each.
