The Caledonian Society's meeting last evening was well attended. Mr D. Thompson presided. The following waa the programme :—Song, "The Romany Lass," Mr D. Menzies; aong, "I DreamD that I Dwelt," Mrs .Murray ; comic song, "Poor Old Bill's Gone," and for au encore "The Thistle," Mr J. Cullen ; song, "Marguerite," Mrs Evans; son^, "The Fisherman and His ,Child," and for an encore, " Poor Lifeole Jo 8," Mr S. Teague ; comic song, " Giihootoy's Supper," Mr P. Ryan ; song, " I was Dreaming." Miss Watta ; song, "Thau You'll Remember Me," Mr Fairweather ; eong, " The Gauntlet," Mr D. Ueoziaa ;' eong, " The Old Home," Mrs Murray ; " Auld Laog Syno." Tho usual dance followed, at which Mr J. Ewan efficiently acted as M.C. Next evening a competition for ladiea for the beet sung English eong will fcako place. Embroidery, 4} yard lengths, from 1b upwards, half usual price. D.S.O.—<Ad.)
