Illegally on Premises. — Bridget Weston, an old offender, pleaded guilty of having been found by night without lawful excuse in an enclosed yard situated in Wellesleystreet, the property of the Rev. L. Fitzgerald.—The accused said she did nob know what she was doing when she went into the yard. She was discovered on the property after she had»fallen asleep.—Hia Worship sentenced her to a ( month's imprisonment. Alleged Larceny.—Francia Small, who was arrested yesterday, in connection with the fracas in the Queen's Ferry on Tuesday night, was charged with the larceny of one vest, one silver .watch, one gold chain and one silver watch, of the total value of £8, the property of Thomas Foley.—Mr Brassey appeared for the accused,—Sergeant Gamblo said that another person had been arrested on the same charge, and had been Remanded till next Tharaday. He would, therefore, ask for a remand to that) day.—The remand was granted as requested, and bail allowed, on the accused's own recognisance of £40, and two feuretioa of £20 each.

Dog Registration. — Richard Henry Davis vftis charged with hiving, on the 2nd May, ub Takapuna, kepb an unregistered dog.—Mr McVeigh appeared for the informant, bub the accused was undefended.— Evidence for the'prosecution was given by H. #,Evans, Dog Registrar for the Waitema't'a County Council, and aleo by Thomas Nicholson. —The defendant said that he had nob kepb any dog eince some timo before Christmas. When the Registrar called ab his house on the 2nd of May, he saw a dog there which belonged nob to him (she defendant), but to his brother. The Registrar was told such was the case before he left the place. —John F. Davis, brother of the defendant, said the dog was his, nnd that; it was in the habit ot going to his brother's house.—Mr Bush said he was surprised bhe Regiabrar brought the case into Court after the explanation given to him by the defendant about the dog. The case would be dismissed.—No costs were allowed. *
