SENSATION IN THE HOUSE OF COMMONS:
O'DONOVAN ROSSA EJECTED.
London, May 8. In the House of Commons a Bill bo repeal the Irish Crimes Act wa9 read a second time by a majority of 14. '< "' " O'Donovan Rossa, who was tv the gallery during the discussion, referring to Mr Harris's remarks on himself and bhe previous speaker, cried, "An assassin's blow is being given mo in bhis House, and a stsin placed on my name." This remark caused quite a sensation among the members and also the officials. The labter seized and rushed Rossa, who was still shouting, from the precints of the Chamber, and ordered him not to show bis face there again. • London, May 9. The small majority by which bhe Bill to repeal the Irish Crimes Acb was read a second time is attributed tp bhe large number of Liberala abstaining from voting. Lord Roßebery, in the course ola speech in London, reproved the Liberal members for this, action, bhus magnifying difficulties and Dreedihg despondency* atflbtig tn§ party. The Government, he said, would continue bill defeated, bub t.he smallneßß of their majority oughb nob to" ferments jeulking'in their ranks. The continued obstacle of bhe House of Lords was nob tho fault of the Government, bub of tho Liberal party, which must bestir itself.
