SUDDEN DEATH OF THE J.J SWINNERTON.
•It is with regret thab we have bo chronicle the death of Mr J. J. Swinnerbon, of this city, who died suddenly at Christchurch yesterday. Deceased, who had been suffering from heart disease, dropped dead in the , Addington Cemetery. He was in business in a large way as a wood-burner, his business premises being situated in Wyndhamstreet, Mr Swinnerbon was ab bhe .hue on a visib South, and had been »' spectator of the football game played on Saturday bebween New South Wales and New Zealand. .Deceased was

sion accompanied the Auckland representatives when they journeyed South, Mr Swinnerton was a resident of Devonporb, ■ where he was much respected by those with 4 whom he had business relations, and also by those who were personally acquainted With him. Deceased, who has resided in thfj colony many years, was 63 years of age M the time of his untimely death. He leavea a large family, most of whom are grown up, to mourn his loss.
