OUR VOLUNTEERS.

On Saturday afternoon the return shooting match between teams picked by Lieutenants Dormer and Oakes, of the City Rifles, took place at the Mounb Eden Range. The match resulted in a victory for tho Dormer Team by 29 points. Sorgennt Roae and Corporal Cox were tho prize winners. The ranges were 200 and 300 yards, five shots at each range. The following are the scores:— Lieutenant Dormer's Team.—Corporal Cox, 59 ; Lieutenant Dormer, 36 ; Private Draffin, 36 ; Bugler Wright, 34 ; Private Tierney, 29 ; Private Keven, 28 ; Private Levy, 26 : total, 228. Lieutenant Oakes' Team. — Sergeant Rose, 37 ; Private Hill, 36 ; Private Robertson, 34 ; Private Coleman, 29 ; Lieutenant Oakes, 25 ; Private Leaning, 21; Private Parr, 14 : total, 199.
