KißANifAwhifcu Central).—The SchoolCommitteos- Election Act Specifies thai) ID «•• No person shall be entitled to vote at School Committee elections iv respecb of more qualifications than one, although he possess them. (2) Not more than one person shall be entitled to vote in respect) bf the same qualification." The qualification of a householder olieible for election to a school Committee ia either as an owner or tenant of a dwelling-house, or if not thus gtialified a householder may be the father or guardian of a child attending school. You aak whether both a husband and wife can claim to be qualified for election to a School Committeei the wife being the owner of the dwelling-house where she residos with her husband ? It eeems to be"clear, from the provisions of the Act, that the husband and wife cannot both claim to be eligible for election td a Committee, for the husband is evidently the tenant of^ the dwelling-house, which hia wife owns, and, therefore, he cannot claim separate qualification on accounb of being the father of his children ; and, moreover, not more than one person can vote m respect of the same qualification. ,
