Or. Jameson's forces pursued King Lobenzula, and it is reported bhab tbe latter defeated them with serious loss. London, November 21. Replying to a question asked by Mr Labouchere in the House of Commons, Mr Sidney Buxton, Under-Secretary for the Colonies, said the Governmenb would not permit Imperial troops to share in tho looting of the lands and mines of the Matabelea, but complete surrender would be insisted wpon.
