Messrs Hunter and Nolan's Report.— Horfe-feed, seeds, grain, etc. : The demand has been slack, and supply sufficient for requirements. Wo quote : Oats, 2* 7d to 2_ 8d per bushol ; maize on wharf, 2s 7d ; ex store, 2s 9d ; bran, £.'-! per ton ; oaten chaff, £3 Lo £4 per ton. Horses : Nothing very noteworthy has occurred in tho market during the week either as to number., ?tamp of value. At the Durham Yards on Friday there was but 0 limited number submitted by auction, and tho n> tendance wan small, both vendors and buyers being engaged on the Shovv Ground. Wo quote: Heavy draught, £20 to £25: lighb and medium, £6 to £17 10s ; riding horses £1 10? to i*- 15*. Wool, hides, skins, tallow, bones: Hides were pitched at the Durham Yards on Tuesday in limited numbers, but a good deal of wool and sheepskin-. Prices wero sustained. Extra stout ox hides scarce, worth 5d to S.jd por lb. Wo quote : Sloub ox, 3.[-d to 4.j>d per Ib ; medium, 2l_d to 3d ; cow and eteet,*, li'rl to 2.V1 ; calf skins, 2_d to 'A\d per lb ; tallow, IGs to 19s per cwt; bones, £0 to £.5 5s per ton ; sheepskin, local, 2s 3d to 4s 6d each ; country. Is lid to 4s 5d ; pelts, Sd to 10d : lambskins, Is 2d to Is 4d ; wool fleece in bags, s_d to 6*^J per Ib ; pieces, 2id to s_d.
