£40,000 MISSING.

Melbourne, this day. Investigation into the affairs of the South Melbourne Permanent Building and Investment Society has discovered another £40.000 to bo missing. This is attributed to fraud on the part of Matthies Larkin, late Secretary of the Society, who is at pre.cnt serving a ssen'enoe of six year 3 penal servitude for defrauding the institution.
