OUR CRICKETERS.
In consequence of the wet weather we have experienced, which has prevented our cricketers from getting practice for tbe forthcoming interprovincial crickeb match againsb Wellington, the Auckland Crickeb Associabion has decided that our probable reps, shall hold a practice match on the North Shore Ground on Saturday nexb. The following will compose the teams :— A. Team: Arneil, Cotfcerill, Jacobs, Kallender, Kelly, Ansenne, Gardiner, Hay, Holle, Fowke, Lundon. B Team.—Williams, Moresby, R. Neill, Wilson, Richards, Macpherson, MacCormiek, Stemson, Nicholson, Wills, Yates, Lawson. The Selection Committee will select the Auckland Eleven on Saturday evening. A number of crickeb matches were played in the Domain yesterday. In the match between Onehunga and City C.C, the former won by two wickets and one run. Newton C.C. beat the Dairymen by 74 runs. In the match Sb. John's Ramblers v. Butchers, St. John's in their innings scored 53. The Butchers compiled 60. For St. John's, Aloir took seven wickets for 27, arid also succeeded in doing the hat) brick. The cricket match, North Shore Cricket Club v. H.M.S. Curacoa, which was to have been played on the Devonport Domain on Saturday, has been postponed to allow the rep. team, which is to play againsb Wellington nexb week, to obtain an afternoon a practice. A Club match will be played between teams picked from any of the mem* bers thab may be on the ground.
