In his address to the shareholders of the Bank of New South Wales at Sydney Mr Thomas Buckland., the Chairman1 of directors, said : " in New Zealand there is » gradual bub sure accumulation or wealth, and the colony is a rnociol of economy." This is praise from a thoroughly impartial and well-informed source, the bank having branches throughout the colony.
