THE CHARGE OF FRAUD.
ACTION FOR FALSE IMPRISONMENT.
London', November 21. Mr J. K. McCready, of Melbourne, who was charged with defrauding Messrs Schewerer and Co., Parisian merchants, has instituted proceedings against his accusers, claiming p£io,ooo for false imprisonment. The case will be heard in December, and alterwards Mr McCready will return to Melbourne.
