, "WAGES OF SIN " TO-NIGHT,
The Holloway Dramatic Company continue £> attiact-a large audience to the Opera Jbuse. To-night the company produce for )he first time in Auckland a powerful tmotional drama by Frank Harvey, entitled "Tba Wages of Sin.'" The piece has been played by. the company in Australia and in other cities in this colony, and has invariably proved popular and successful. Ib is claimed to be a " moral drama," and all who have seen it admit the claim to be well founded. The plot is said- to be a strong one, and possesses features of striking originality ; the situations are stated to be thoroughly effective, and the dialogue at times sparkles with humour, and at other times eloquently pathetic. To-morrow (Friday) evening the Misses Constance aud Alice Deorwyn wi!l take their farewell benefit, and by special request appear in their favourite characters of Lady Isabel and Barbara Hare in the charming poetic drama of East Lynne.
