HOLY TRINITY CHURCH CONCERT.
Last evening a social in connection wirh Holy Trinity Church, Devonport, was hold in the schoolroom attached to the church. Tho Rev. ,J. Hates, incumbent, presided The schoolroom was well filled, A number of contributions by H.M.s. Itingarooma's I men wero aboVo tbo.averago, and were all encored. A neat little speech by JMrO. Maya was very appropriate. Mr Alt'.' Bartley played all the accompaniments, and the genoralaucceeeof theentertainment is largely due to his clfom. Refreeliments were provided on a liberal Pcale and done justice to, and tho programme all through was capitally rendered. Anothor evening of a similar nature is contemplated before 1i.M.8. Kingarooma leaves dock. The programme rendered was as follows • -Overture, by the social orchestra ; song and dance, Messrs Liggery and Brodie ; song, Mr L<\ Whitakor; song (comic), Mr \\ ill Dale; song, Mr Sims; recitation, Mr Baldwin j clog dance, Messrs Liggery and Brodie ; instrumental Bolection. orchestra ; song, Mr E. Reid ; recitation, Mr Prettyjohn ; eong, Mr Sims; sono(comic), Mr Brown ; reading, Mr Haultain ; song and chorus, by tlio Bartloy family.
