I (BY TELEGKAriI. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, this day. Proceedings are to be taken agaimst several business people hero for neglecting to send in returns of income. The Hospital Trustees propose to borrow the money required for additions to the Hospital, instead of raising it by rate. ; The Government Insurance Department is preparing tables for a ponsion scheme foi. , Civil Servants, with special tables for police. It is proposed to bring scbo<ol teachers and railway eorvants into the Civil Service. The Government are nob likely to adopt the Railway Commissioners' peueion scheme, which they consider too complex, but it will be optional with employees to avail themselves of the scheme prepared for them.
