BOARD OF EDUCATION.
A meetikg of the Executive Committee of the Board of Education was held this afternoon. Mr R. Udy (chairman) presided. A letter was read from C. Rhodes, of Hunua, stating that some of the Hunua Committee attended the breaking-up of the school, and went through the form of examining the children. He stated that not one member ori the Committee had the education of a well-grounded Third Standard child,, and appealed to the Board to prevent any such farce taking place in future. The latter was received. MrR. C. Whitham vras appointed to fill the position of head teacher of the Mount Albert School.
