Whangarei, this day. The prospectors' amalgam for the week is 2,2200/1. Tho battery only worked three and a-half days owing to the want of water and an accident to tho pulveriser. A Watson-Denny pan wont out to the field to-day, and the directors meet to discuss the advisability of adding ten head of stampers to tho plant. The final clearing up will be made on Saturday, 27 th inst. Over a thousand ounces of silver have already been retorted from a part of the amalgam on hand, ' ===== I
