How to Grow Teeth.
According bo bhe ' Kolnische Volkszeitung,' a Moscow dentist appears to have solved the problem of supplying bhe human mouth with false teeth which will grow into the gums as firmly as natural ones. Dr. Znamensky has performed several successful operations on dogs, as well as on human beings. The beebh are made of gubba percha, porcelain, or m9tal, as the case may be. Ab the root of the false tooth boles are made. Holes are also made upwards inbo the jaw. The booth is bhen placed in bhe caviby. In a shorb bime, a sofb, granulated growth finds its way from the patient's jaw into the holes in the tooth ; this growth gradually hardens, and holds the too .h in its position. It is stated that it does not matter whether the cavity in which the tooth is to be placed is one from which a natural tooth has been recently drawn, or whether it has been healed for some years.
An undertaker, wishing to sell out, presents an inducement to inquirers that a young doctor of non-experience has jusb betblei in the town.
