THE BUFFALO MINSTRELS.
oAfter a long absence from Auckland the popular Buffalo Minstrel Company, with which tho Messrs Hugo havo been so long associated, will opon in tho Opera House, and they may bo . uro of a crowded hou.o. Tho Hugos have become quite an institution with minstrel lovers in New Zealand and Australia, and thoy bring always some fresh attraction with them on thoir visits from tho other sido. An excellent programme has been arranged iov this evoning, including many novelties and soma new songs. A picturesque opening scene has been goo up, and a piece which follows, "Funny Scenes on tho Railway," is described as exceedingly amusing. Charley Hugo himself will bo to the fore with his nigger business and comicalities, and Billy Akarman, a clever American comedian, will also bo ell on view. Amongst the performers there aro two •strangers to Auckland audioncos _o far— Miss Bevan, a pretty contralto ballad.ingar, and Mr W. B. Cadzow, a tenor vocalist.
