THE STRIKE FUND.
DELEGATES AT THE THAMES,
Our correspondent at the Thames wired this morning :— •' Messrs Hannigan and Wilson, delegates from the Auckland branch of the Seamen's Union, have arrived at the Thames for the purpose of collecting funds in aid of the maritime strike which is jnstnowoccupyingsomuch attention. They were most courteously received by Messrs. A. Thomson, Secretary, and C. Gordon, of the Thames branch of the A.M.A., and ib is probable that the delegates will be invited to attend the public meeting of members to be held in the Academy of Music on Saturday evening."
