"Mr T, Kelly, the trainer of Mporebank, has requested the stewards of the V.A.T.C. to taake a searching inquiry into the runjrifg'of Moorebank in tho Caulheld Cup ; arid also to obtain, if possible, evidence aa to the reasons which induced certain bookmakers iif overlay the horse. Mr Kelly declares that had Moorebank been successful fee have won about £6,000, and WSerts that he courts the fullest inquiry into the circumstances connected with the indifferent running.
