Sib,—At the Anti-Home Rule Meeting last night Sir William Fox stopped speaking on account of an unseemly uproai in the stalls. A respectable citizen rose and explained "to. Sir WiUlaitf-'that this observations were nob the "catfse of> the disturbance, but thab some one had raised an unbearable stench by burning assafoetida. Inspector' Broham, thinking that the cibizen had created the uproar, ordered him to be ejected, and several policemen proceeded to drag him out. I and others interfered and appealed to tho chairman to prevent the perpetration of such a gross outrage. Tho " Herald " this morning puts ib vice vprsa. Ib says we were " benb on turning the man oub of bhe hall, and would have done so bub for the intervention of the police." Great Scott! — Yours truly, M. Murray.
