SUPREME COURT.
BANCO SITTING TO-MORROW,
A very heavy lisb will be presented at the Banco Sittings of the Supreme Court to-morrow, commencing at 11 a.m. There are altogether eight cases, and the firsbtaken will be the Loan and Mercantile Co. v. J. C. Firth, for argument of questions of law. The next case is an action brought by the NorthlS'ewZealandFarrners , Association v. Heather ; and after this, matters in dispute between Pierce Lanigan and the Auckland Harbour Board in reference to the Calliope Dock will come on in a new form. The judge will be asked to reverse hia decision declining, to appoint an arbitrator, to appoint an arbitrator, and to direct that the Harbour Board shall pay the costs of such arbitration. Keals v. Anderson.a case for argumentof law points, will follow, and last in order will come the four applications, made for .writs of mandamus to compel the City North Licensing Bench to grant licenses refused to the same number of hotels.
