YANKEE GRAB.

Wellington, this day. Judgment in tho appeal case of Ruddick v. Nebherod, in which Ruddick was convicted by the Napier R.M. of allowing Yankee grab to be played in his licensed'house, was given this morning, upholding the conviction. Counsel for plaintiff contended the English laws against gaming were not in force here, but the Chief Justice and Judge Richmond both held the contrary opinion.
