SPORTING NEWS.
An endeavour is to be made to complete the Auckland Coursing Club meeting on Saturday next. A rumour was abroad that both Mystery and The Turbot, who were engaged in the Birthday Stake, had been sent to Dunedin, but on inquiring we learn only Mystery has been taken down. There are now seven dogs left in the stake, and Blue Cap, the favourite, will have an accidental bye through Mystery's absence.
