A STORMY BANKRUPTACY MEETING.
(BY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
Palmerston North, this day. At a meebing of creditors in the estate of R. Allhigham, bootmaker (in which G. Foster, Me Arthur and Co., and Bull and Co., all of Auckland, are the principal creditors), -several stormy scenes took place between Mr. T. Hall, storekeeper, and the bankrupt. It is only about twelve months sinco the bankrupt received his discharge, and he was then censured for not keeping a cash-book. The bankrupt'admibted he kept no account of his cash transactions. A motion to do without a public examination was carried, but tho Deputy Official Assignee did not agree with this, and stated that unless the bankrupt gave him a full accounb of his cash receipts and expenditure, he would have him publicly examined on his own account.
