FISK JUBILEE SINGERS.
The Fisk Jubilee Singers, after a very successful tour of the World, will re-open at the City Hall this evening, under bhe distinguished pabronage and in bhe presence of Rear-Admiral Fairfax, C.8., and parby. Since bheir previous season in Auckland bhe Jubilee singers have added numerous new glees, quarbebtes, and solos toy bheir repertoire, while somo of bhe fine old plantation melodies, for which they were so highly eulogised before, have been retained. The Company will give only eight performances here, and ab bhe conclusion of the season they will proceed to Waikato, thence to New Plymoubh, Wanganui, Wellington and Australia. They will give a lew cowcerts in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, and may also visit China and Japan, prior to returning home via San' Francisco. The Company are said to have undergone very little alteration since they were iiy Auckland previously, the only change in the "personnel being the subsbibubion of Miss Johnson for Miss Lawrence. Tickebs can be obbained, and seats reserved, during bhe day at Kidd and Wildm.an's.
