REPORTED GERMAN DEFEAT,
A Fiji paper has bhe following : —A passenger by the s.s. Soubhorn Cross, from Samoa via Tonga, says bhab ib was reported in Apia that a second collision had occurred between the Germans and Samoans in which a number of the former were killed. This statement has received no confirmation from any other source.
