The second junior Cup for. the season 1888-9 has been won by the Alpha li. They were to have met the Wanderers 11. team last Saturday, but the-latter failed to put in an appearance, so the Alpha claimed the match. ATHLETICS.

At the H.A.C.B. Society's Sports ye 3 terday St. Patrick's Handicap resulted in a victory for W. Fairweather v/ith 12 points, J. McDonnell, 10 points, being second, M. tflynn, 7 points, Svd.
