ONEHUNGA SPRING MEETING.
The Onehunga Racing Club opened the season this afternoon with their _Spring Meeting, which is being held at Cotters Paddock. Better weather could not have been desired, and when the first race'started there were fully I,o* 0 spectators present.

Snider led until rounding the home turn, where Dollar assumed the lead and won easily at the finish. Dividend, 10s tickets, £1 7s. The winner was submitted to auction, and bought in by the owner for £15 10s.

At the fall of the flag Landseer rushed to the front, and he led the field till nearing the turn for home, when Leorina got on terms.
