GOLD AT COX'S CREEK.
A, day or two ago Mr Edgar, dyerj of Welleßley-Btreet, while excavating a foundation for a house on his land at Cox's Creek, made a discovery of an auriferous patch of ground, inasandstonecouritry. MrEdgar had a quantity of the dirt analysed in town, and the analysis, a return of which was made to-day, showed that the dirt contained gold. No further particulars have yet come to band. > •
