OUTRAGE AT A MINE.
COAL FROM ENGLAND.

The non-Utiionist men working in "a small lO liery at Burwood, two milos from Newcastle, refused to agree to the request of the Unionists to'cease worki and during the night an attempt, was made to blow up the entrance of the mine with dynamite. Very little damage was done.

Owing to the strike of the Newcastle miners several English steamers have been en aged to convey coal to Australia. Shipowners generally feel indisposed to place their vessels on the Australian berth, fearing that the strike in'the colony will prevent the steamers coaling and obtaining return cargoes.
