COURSING MEETING.

TO-MORROW'S COURSING AT PLUMPTON PARK.

The opening coursing meeting of the season, under the auspices of the Auckland Plumptou Fark Club, takes place tomorrow. Everything points to lovers of the leash witnessing some firstclass trials, and it is said that the hares were never more numerous than this season. The admission to the ground has been fixed at the low price of one shilling, and trains leave tho Auckland station at 10.10 a.m. and 11.40 a.m., returning at 5.10 p.m. The dogs will be put in the slipsat cloven o'clock. The draw took place at Kidd's Commercial Hotel last night, and great interest was evinced in the proceedings. Mr W. F. Buckland presided, and over 100 persons were in the room. A good deal of wagering took place, Sailor Boy being a pronounced favourite for the Cup. The following was tho result of the draw :—
