THE WAITOA "SALTING."
STRANGE RUMOURS. (by TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Te Aroiia, this day. Several strange rumours are afloat re the Waitoa salting mystery. It is said one has confessed who was in the secret, also that filings have been discovered, but pending information of a reliable character i do nob care to repeat tho rumours which are current. I understand that the test plant, which a short bime since was on the ground, has been sold for removal.
