Sir G. M. O'Rorke addresses the Manukau electors at Onehunga Hall this evening.

It will be seen from our advertising columns that Mr Shera's first public meeting with the electors of Auckland West takes place to-morrow night in St. James's Hall, Wellington-street. The candidate had another good meeting last night, and another one will take place on Thursday evening, at half-past seven o'clock.

MrW. Aitken Connell, in response to a requisition has promised to give an address in the Newmarket Hall. The requisition and reply appear in our eighth page. Thames, this day. Mr William Fraser publicly declared yesterday that ho will contest Thames seat. It is more than likely Mr Brodie will contest Thames seat. The address to be delivered hero to-morrow night by Sir R. Stout is looked forward to with great interest. Daeoaville, this day. Mr Thompson on Friday evening last met the electors of Arapohue in the schoolhouse, and delivered a vigorous, animated address on the questions of retrenchment and reform of the land laws. He severely condemned the extravagance- of the present Government, and completely carried his audience with him. He was accorded a unanimous vote of confidence. Mr Thompson addressed the gumdiggers, and obtained a vote of confidence, at Muropui on Saturday.
