THE SEAMEN'S STRIKE
There is little news to report in connection with the seamen's strike, the Auckland Branch of the Union having suspended operations pending the result of negotiationsnow proceeding for the charter of steamers being made known. The Northern Company are running as usual, and although several changes have been made in the crews it is understood that they have not been caused by any influence exercised by the Union.
