ELECTION NOTES.
Sir Robert Stout's Address.
We are authorised to state, in respect of Sir Robert Stout's public meetingto-morrow night, that the dress circle of the hall will be specially set apart for ladies and their escorts. Admission to the platform will be by ticket, which may be obtained from Mr Geo. Fraser or any of the members of the Industrial Exhibition Committee. At the desire of the Hon. Mr Tole, MrJno. King has been entrusted to assist in the details. Any of the Premier's friends who do not get tickets and who elect to take a seat on the platform should apply to Mr King at his offices, New Zealand Insurance Buildings, where they can obtain admission passes for the stage. Mr H. T. Garratt has consented in response to the requisition to contest the Newton seat. His first address to the electors will be delivered on Monday evening next at St. George's Hall. "" ' Mr J. B. VVhyte addressed a meeting at Wairangi (Rangiriri) last Friday night and got a vote of ooafidence. WEU.INGTON, this day. Mr Walter Johnston formerly Minister of Public Works is a probable candidate for one of the City Electorates in the protection interest.
