The Takapuna Jockey Club hold their Autumn Meeting to-morrow, when, no doubt, they will be well patronised at the hands •of race-goera. An excellent programme of seven events will be run off, and in each case good fields promise to go to the post. The first race is Set down for 1 o'clock, and the Ferry Com : pany, as usual, will run their fleet of steamers at shofb intervals throughout the day. My ideas of the probable results are as follows :—Autumn Handicap : Teddy Yuille. Steeplechase : Silvio or Quilp. Selling Hurdles : Torpedo. Maiden Plate : Rosie. Hurdlo Race : Coral. The Devonport Handicap, the concluding race of the day, is dependent on the results of the other events.
